Meet Your Staff
We would like to welcome two new employees to Crossroads.
Mike Hobbs: Youth and Family Minister and
Crissy Hobbs: Children’s Director
Pastor Russ Blake
Russ, along with his lovely wife, Cindy, started Crossroads as a church plant. They have a huge heart for the community of Yelm, and are always smiling, friendly faces when you see them. They really are at the heart of Crossroads, and they make people feel so loved and welcomed. Russ & Cindy have four lovely children, and a herd of grandchildren that you will often see hanging on Russ on a Sunday morning. You will hear frequently a "Go Packers," a "Go Dodgers," or a "Go Lakers" from Russ on a Sunday morning, but most importantly you will hear a "God is good" declared.
Debbie is a spunky red head whose strong love for the Lord is greatly reflected in her music and worship. She has over 20 years of experience with recording her own christian music albums, performing live for numerous audiences, and utilizing her creative skills towards Crossroads yearly Christmas play. Debbie has a great team of people that she works with, and she has a huge heart that cares for each and every person who volunteers for her team. Debbie & her husband Pat have two married daughters and two grand daughters, and they love riding their motorcycles, performing with their band clownfish, and enjoying friends.
Laura has been with Crossroads since 2003, and is the lead expert to the ins and outs of how Crossroads functions and operates. Laura is the person to talk to for just about everything, and is at the front lines of making the machine that is Crossroads run smoothly. Laura is often found with a smile on her face, a cup of coffee in hand, and wearing some form of purple attire.
Cyndie has been working at Crossroads since 2015, and is such a warm presence when you walk through the doors. Cyndie is often the right hand woman of Laura in the office, and makes your day warm and bright with her friendly smile. Cyndie, her husband, and their children are a bundle of fun, and we encourage you to get to know them.
